OPEN HOUSE

It's the time of year... All schools have their Open House days at the end of the month of January every year.

Same goes for my school. This upcoming weekend we're on!

Last week a joint presentation was held by all secondary schools in our town. Despite the bad weather it turned out to be a successful aftrenoon and evening after all.

At our school preparations are made for the Open House. Of course a school want to make a good impression, but I don't like the fact that all of a sudden - shortly before the big days - the entire building is turned inside out,.... last minute paint jobs,... classrooms are given an extra cleaning job or makeover,... plants and flower appear at places we never see them,...

Oh well,... gotta do something to win the kids' (or their parents') hearts...
