X-mas gig
The annual Christmas Fair (Christmas Market) in our hometown has become the largest one in the country. Some 350 little stalls filled the narrow old streets in the city center this year. Some were selling typical Christmas-related stuff and ornaments, others were selling plain old market crap. More than 300.000 people visited the 2005 edition of the “Kerstmarkt”.
Our JUBAL All Star X-mas Band (brass ensemble + 1 drummer) traditionally performs four or five gigs on the Sunday. This year was no difference. Despite the rain during the last two concerts, the crowd’s reactions were very positive!
Our X-mas-repertoire can now be stowed away for another year. Next year Paris? Who knows… Something to start working on.
