GIG IN REEUWIJK

Went to Reeuwijk (near Gouda) last night for the annual Kakofonie Festival. Our friends of "'t Kapelleke Band" run this well-organized festival and yesterday evening we were there for the fifth time I guess. Always a fun party. Some really good bands on stage too!!
Especially enjoyed Knaoiers and Boure Soul Stampers.
Surprisingly the trophy - a creation made up with parts of different instruments - went to a band from Den Helder.
Our band once again drew a lot of attention wih our costumes and with the fast pace in the musical repertoire. We're kind of the odd man out as far as tempo is concerned!

Met quite a few very interesting people too. We're already talking about taking the band to the island of Terschelling for our anniversary.... Nice Pirate!

This afternoon another performance on our schedule. This time we can stay "home" for the gig is at the Cyclaam Festival in our city theater Kunstmin. Profits will go to the "Spieren voor Spieren" Foundation.
